Instructor profiles
Greg Lawrence
Growing up on Lake Austin introduced Greg to a variety of watersports at an early age. As a competitive kneeboarder, Greg set two National records and competed on the pro tour. After meeting Jimmy Redmon (the Father of Wakeboarding), he began to wakeboard in 1987. His passion for wakeboarding, barefooting, and gymnastics led to a spot in SeaWorld's Baywatch Waterski and Stunt Show, while attending college at Southwest Texas State University. He went on to compete in the pro tour in 1997, wakeboarding on team O'Brien (thanks to help from good friend Todd Weatherill). Being on tour meant clinics and instruction across the nation with other top pros, allowing Greg to refine his teaching technique into a simple and easy set of drills and small steps. Let his experience and genuine desire to see you succeed, help you to take your riding to the next level.
Austin Dodson
Austin Dodson has been with Lakelessons since high school, instructing students and running summer camps for years. Competing on the INT circuit early in his career, Austin won the "Golden Ticket" to the Pro Wakeboard Tour, earning the chance to ride with the best in the sport. Austin's relaxed attitude and supportive nature makes learning seem easy.
Hana Darwin
Lakelessons was lucky enough to have Hana attend our camps as a young athelete, and we put her to work shortly afterwards. A natural with children and a great communicator, she helps to keep our summer camps running effectively. As a wakesurfer, Hana has competed in several contests including the EWT Series and the local Barrel Boss events, taking first at the 15th Annual Wake the Desert Contest. With sponsors like Chaos / Shredstixx and RipCurl wetsuits, she can't lose! Look for her as a sports model in the 2015 Tige Boats catalog, and online.
Cody Reichle
As an athlete, Cody keeps himself in great physical shape. That comes in handy while he goes through the Fire Academy to become a life saving firefighter. Responsible, patient, and talented, Cody believes in "Saftey First". As an up and coming wakeboarder, he will amaze you with his flips, spins, and stylish tricks. As an instructor, he will inspire and educate you to have more fun behind the boat. Whether you are a beginner, or are looking to learn advanced tricks, Cody has you covered!
Nick kondylas
Growing up on the water near Annapolis, Maryland, Nick was lucky enough to have constant access to the water. Although the season for wakeboarding is not as long there, Nick works hard promoting the sport and teaching as many people as possible. He has participated in several competitions in the Mid Atlantic region and continues to support the growth of the sport. Nick is now a film student at the University of Texas where he is also an officer of the wakeboarding club, TX Wake
Sebastian Rynhoud
Sebastian has grown up all over the world. Born in South Africa, he has spent time in Nigeria, Hong Kong, and England before coming to the US. With 6 years experience in motocross, he has no fear. He brings that same athleticism and enthusiasm to his watersports. After buying a Tige' RZ4 over a year ago, his surfing has reached high levels. Let him share his knowledge on how to catch airs, slash the lip, or do bottom turns on lake Travis behind his boat with a monster wave. And when you are done, he can find you the board you need back at the Ski Dock, where he runs the Pro Shop.
